ウェストバージニア大学にて言語学を学ぶ傍らアメリカ各地で活動、多くのジャズの巨匠と共演。これまでに20枚のリーダー作を発表。現在は自己のリーダーユニット「アコースティック・ウェザー・リポート」を中心に活動。常にワールドワイドな活動を展開している。
ポップスのプロデュース、映画音楽なども多く、「新世紀エヴァンゲリオン」のサウンドトラックでも演奏参加。また、BS-TBS「報道1930」などのTV番組テーマ曲も担当。2015年からのBS日テレ「大人の名曲ライブ☆今宵jazzyに！」では、編曲およびバンドマスターも務めた。最新アルバム「アコースティック・ウェザー・リポート2」はアマゾン3部門で1位を獲得した。 While studying linguistics at West Virginia University, performed across the U.S. with many famous jazz musicians. He has put out 20 albums with bands as the lead artist. He currently is performing primarily with his own band “Acoustic Weather Report” and is active across the globe.
He has produced pop music and the music sound tracks and played on the soundtrack for Neon Genesis Evangelion. He has also done theme music for TV programs such as BS-TBS’ “News 1930.” Since 2015 he has been the arranger and bandmaster for BS Nittere’s “Classical Jazz for Adults – Jazz It Up Tonight.” His latest album release, “Acoustic Weather Report 2” has grabbed the number one spot in three categories on Amazon. |
